New TV can I play poker on it?
Ok, I just bought a 32" LCD tv.
If I buy a cord to run from laptop to TV will my screen come up clear for poker? What cord will I need? |

Re: New TV can I play poker on it?
it's not the size of the TV in inches as much as it is in the resolution of the screen. From a poker playing perspective even a 1080p isn't that high a resolution. Check out this chart http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution

Re: New TV can I play poker on it?
Link doesnt work.
But what would I need to like 4 table clearly, I mean what resolution would work best. 1280x800 is my laptop setting and I can 4-table very smally. So any clue on the TV resolution I would need. I havnt bought the TV but I know the one I was going to get. I also noticed most of the TV's have the same resolution, so I am confused on what I need to look at for hooking it up. |

Re: New TV can I play poker on it?
720p is 1280x720, which is smller than your lappy.
1080p is 1920x1080, bigger than your laptop, but you'll still be resizing tables to 4 table. You want to look for a PC input on the TV or you should be able to use a DVI to HDMI adapter to hook the laptop to the TV. |
