i do

notice how you phrase your question to emphasize what the worst possible scenario is. instead, why not look at "hmm, should i call a possible squeeze shove over a minraise with 99, getting almost 1.5:1"?

Let's say OP decided to cold-call the minraise with JJ. Would it be a terrible fold? Can we call here profitably with 77/88/AQ?

JJ is an easy call
77 is really borderline, probably a fold
AQ is also close, not sure, slightly lean to call

With AQ, it depends on the raising frequency of OR I think. If he's tight (either reads or PT stats), folding seems best, otherwise calling is fine. If you're calling, I'd probably push over a push by the short BB if OR cold calls.
