Villain is a nit who often neglects to rebuy back to a full buyin. He's like 15/9 through over 100 hands. Is my line better than checking and calling his likely turn bet, folding to any non-Jack river?

Given that I did call preflop, anyone have a line postflop that involves putting money in at some point that doesn't suck?

The only way you can put your money in good postflop is by flopping a set, and BB isn't deep enough to make chasing a set worthwhile, hence preflop sucks.

Here's a similar hand. Villain is 17/11 this time. So wtf is the flop check? Usually a trap in these spots? Both villains did it, and both were happy to get AI. Is it even worth stabbing at these flops?
