Default Self-Parking / Valet at Rio

Quick question(s):

which lot is best for parking at the Rio to avoid a long walk? (Is there covered parking near there?) Is there a valet stand near the convention rooms?

cheers

There is not a covered lot within walking distance of the WSOP. The WSOP valet is uncovered.

The parking garage on the "Carnaval" side is right near where the shuttle buses drop off. It's fairly close to the front desk. It's a long walk, but not much further than the Masquerade tower rooms, so it's farther than the WSOP parking, but it's walkable. The main benefit is most of that walk is indoors. From the parking garage to the building is 50 feet.

The valets roll your windows down when they park, so that helps a little.
