First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
First hand. I have no read on villain.

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
Um dude, whats up with that flop check raise? I can't think of a worse spot or flop to do that on.

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
having gotten here this way for no apparent reason at all, you may as well shove and hope he hero calls AdJx.

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
Yeah, that check raise is terrible. He's easily calling with a high diamond.

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
i really am never in the camp of fold preflop, fold flop as I like to dissect hands, but I just check fold this flop and don't think much of it. Im lost on river but I probably check and see what he does.

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
Trying to go for a C/R bluff on a monotone board the first hand of a $100 tournament is way +EV.
I guess once you get to the river, you might as well throw out a blocker bet for 1/2 of the remaining stacks and hope to get called by Adx, but I almost don't want to comment because you played the flop so bad. |

Re: First Hand of Nightly Hundred Grand
I don't post in the HSMTT forum much (ok not at all) but like to follow along. First of all, I wondered what the flop c/r was for as well.
Secondly, is this a place to check and let him bluff with a high diamond? Or does this play leave us guessing too much if he shoves the river? *runs back to SSMTT* |
