Default Single or multi table

Hey guys, I dont play high stakes nl but i wanted to ask you guys a question. I play 100nl and i have mixed feelings on if i should take advantage of online pokers ability to play many tables at once and make more with rakeback and more profit from the many hands per hour or just playing one table at a time and pay attention to everything to improve my hand reading skills (which are bad) and other things so i can learn this game and become better to eventually move up to the high stakes one day. How did you guys become better players when starting? ty
