Default 66 - flop set on super dry board

villain is running 25/18/2 has been fairly solid so far over 200+ hands. has been defending his BB quite a bit by calling, but he doesnt 3 bet out of the blinds much at all from what ive seen... usually 3bets just when hes in pos.
this is the first big pot weve played together

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $99.00
BB: $221.60
Hero (UTG): $309.20
MP: $51.50
CO: $34.20
BTN: $98.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt 6 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $4.00, 4 folds, BB calls $3.00

Flop: ($8.50) 6 7 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8.00, BB raises to $23.00, Hero calls $15.00
some people are gonna say 3 bet this flop, but i can only see getting more value out of exactly 22, because i think everything else folds.

Turn: ($54.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $39.00, BB calls $39.00
villain INSTACALLED.
standard betsize right?

River: ($132.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $77.00 Hero is suddenly feeling like a nit and????

hows my line so far?
is this a super easy shove? call? this whole hand just felt wrong

Yeah, river is a shove. I mean, what can he really have here that beats you? 99 is about all I can think of. 77 raises the turn most of the time and he should never have a straight here.

I wouldn't always 3-bet that flop, but against this guy I think I would since he's flatting lots of PPs pre given your read, and 88-JJ make overpairs on the flop. People don't like to fold overpairs, get the money in before the scare cards hit (eg. an ace on the turn). You also get value from 22, and even 76s since he likes to defend.

i agree that his flop range is big, but when he ch/snapcalls the turn, then insta bets river, i think his range is narrowed a LOT.

flop is fine, i dont mind not 3betting there when u r in position. i think maybe a bigger bet on the turn, esp how the hand has played, if u bet a little bigger in this spot i think ur more likely to induce a shuv from some opponents but i dont hate ur betsize or nething. i call the river and i think a shuv is dumb.

why would villain shove over a bigger turn bet but not 4/5 pot bet? do you mean he would bluff shove, or value shove something better?

i potted the flop... you like overbetting this deep (might be kinda sexy)? or do you mean turn? or do you mean 3bet flop?

I think this is pretty sick. A9 isn't in his range very often I wouldn't think...99 is the only thing that beats us, but what calls a shove? meh, I still push I guess.
