Default Set of 8s 400NL

Button is average and I have only seen him make plays vs blind steals and otherwise shows down what he represents. He has been complaining about how bad his night has been going. No reads on BB or UTG. A non PT site so no stats.

Texas Hold'em NL $2/$4

Button($329.60 in chips)
Hero($411.50 in chips)
BB($292.80 in chips)
UTG($364.00 in chips)
MP($373.80 in chips)
CO($489.52 in chips)

Hero Post SB $2.00
BB Post BB $4.00

Dealt to Hero [S8 D8]

UTG Call $4.00
MP Fold
CO Fold
Button Call $4.00
Hero Call $2.00
BB Check

Flop [D9 C8 D7] Pot $16

Hero Bet $16.00
BB Call $16.00
UTG Raise $64.00
Button Allin $325.60
Hero ?

Looks like Ongame (Pokerroom, Betsson etc.) if thats the case PT should work there.

Think for a few seconds before calling on the flop, pushing is fine too, just dont fold.

This looks like a straight (or 99) protecting against a flushdraw or boat draw -- "my night has not been going well; I'm not going to get sucked out here". yeah, it could be something like TT,T9,77,AdTd but you're far from having the nuts, have only 1 nut out, and not pot committed. Fold, move on.

what's the smallest pair you regularly raise pf here? I am currently mostly completing even TT in this type of spot, albeit at 50NL and 100NL.

depends on number of limpers and how table plays postflop for smaller pairs, but 88+ is a 100% raise for me.

i like the pf completion.

i would seriously consider folding. i think we will see a straight very often. on the plus side, 99 is prob not out there.
