Default I disagree with hand 1-2 in the 2+2 SnG book.

I won't go into complete detail with this hand for possible copywrite infringement issues.

basically first level of tourney or so, he limps KK utg. while he says that table is lose with most hands having a pf raiser. I still gag at the idea of limping KK utg in an SnG.

You are limping in hopes that someone behind you raises. If they don't you are screwed. I find that it is best to not be tricky in the early stages of a SnG, especially a loose SnG.

Limping KK is gross most of the time, especially at low blind levels. That advice is garbage. If the table is loose they will call your raise, there is no reason to get tricky.

Yeah, that can't ever be a good idea early in a sng. It's not worth the gamble that someone will raise behind you. If the table is loose, maybe you'll get a caller that you can stack. Seems kinda backwards.

in low level sit and go's its better just to push and get called by any pocket pair or A-X.

Please let me be the first to say that I am SHOCKED that there is ANY poor advice in this book.

I think I've limped KK in EP in STTs. Like once.

Because that always happens.

I think the idea that all our opponents are totally retarded has no merit, even if they do retarded things from time to time. You fold every hand of 20 and then raise from UTG and you think no one noticed? They notice. I find the whole table generally folds. Occasionally, someone has a hand they love and will take me on, but not that often. I don't limp KK in EP either but sometimes I wish I had, when I'm scooping the 75 chips or whatever in blinds.

Are you suggesting that they aren't going to notice when a tight player 3 bets after limping utg?
