3/6, flopped the nuts and things keep going downhill after that
villian is a somewhat passive player, stats 21/7/1.5 over 380 hands, my own image is 20/18/3 over 60 hands or so, I have raised and folded to 3 bet a few time, and 3 bet a few times myself, nothing really out of line though.
about 20 hands ago, I played this hand with him Poker Stars, $3/$6 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter BB: $625 UTG: $595.15 MP: $1,082.75 Hero (CO): $593 BTN: $690.10 SB: $303 Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $24</font>, BTN calls $24, SB folds, BB calls $18 Flop: ($75) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $48</font>, BTN calls $48, BB folds Turn: ($171) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $132</font>, BTN calls $132 River: ($435) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN checks Results: $435 Pot ($3 Rake) Hero showed 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Fives) and LOST (-$204 NET) BTN showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Queens) and WON $432 (+$228 NET) Please comment on all streets Poker Stars, $3/$6 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter BB: $889 UTG: $416.70 CO: $1,072.80 Hero (BTN): $728.70 SB: $868.15 Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN) 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $18</font>, SB calls $15, BB folds Flop: ($42) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $30</font>, SB calls $30 Turn: ($102) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $84</font>, SB calls $84 River: ($270) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $146</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $736.15 and is All-In</font>, Hero ? |

Re: 3/6, flopped the nuts and things keep going downhill after that
If the player is as passive as you say, I think you are missing value in hand one by checking the river.
I think hand 2 is a clear fold although it is hard to make myself do it in the heat of the moment. |

Not sure why you check river in Hand 1 but w/e.
This is a very easy fold. |

river check in #1 sucks badly [/ QUOTE ] for hand 1, I would think that I only miss some value from TJ/JQ, (I doubt he would flat call PF and then so many times AF with Ks/As), but he could have a higher set quite often here I think. Also I should add that I didn't know he was that passive at the time hand 1 was played, I was thinking c/c might win some money from a missed flush draw |

Re: 3/6, flopped the nuts and things keep going downhill after that
by the way, bet size are pretty standard in both hands?

Re: 3/6, flopped the nuts and things keep going downhill after that
Please bet the river in hand 1, it's not close. Am I crazy for wanting to check the river vs this guy in hand 2 given the other hand? Either way, fold fast to the shove. I think betting the river in hand 2 is wayyyyyy thinner than betting in hand 1 fwiw.
