Default Internship question

I had three interviews this week and it seems as though all three companies will probably want me to work for them. Company A called me this morning while I was sleeping and asked me to start monday even though in the interview they said a week from monday. Company B hasnt gotten back to me yet but I think I would probably rather work for them. Company A wants me to clal them back today, like within the next 90 minutes, what should I say to Company A? Its not that I dont want to work for them, I just would rather work for company B who hasnt gotten back to me yet...

Ask a high-school chick. They deal with this every time there's a dance, or prom, or whatever.

Start work with company A. IF company B calls, you quit job A and start job B.

Tell company A to chill out and you will get back to them on Monday. Call Company B and C on Monday Morning and ask them what your status is. If Company A really wants you to work there, they can honor the timeframe that they initally told you.

What were your interviews like? I've got a couple next week in software engineering and I'm not sure what to expect.

you can't really do this without risking harm to your reputation.

i would follow the advice someone posted earlier in telling company A that you just can't answer them right away, that you are weighing your options and you'll have to get back with them in a couple of days.
