Not so sure about this one. When he bet weak on the turn I figured him to be on the draw. I was confident that if I raised and he came over the top he was already there, whereas if he was on the draw he would just call and check the river to me when he missed (giving me a free showdown.)

loool, dude just raise to 9. almost never minbet, unless if it commits him without putting his stack in allready (but the bet has to be big), with weakish hands.

Did that a while ago, and it was the only time a minraise really worked. After wards the guy said, that he couldnt fold his over pair to my minbet and couldnt fold to river shove cos he committed calling the turn minraise..

You're not reading it right. The minraise to $6 on the flop was by the SB. I'm referring to my check/min-raise on the turn.

I never minraise and I dont think anyone should. If you make a 2.5-4x raise you either deny odds villain requires, get info on his hand when he calls/raises, get more money in the pot. You can win bigger pots in the future.

Min raise waste of time it achieves little - if youre ahead you giv good odds and dont maximise potential profit
