so you agree this is a dumb thing? actually the dumb idea didn't came from iraqi government. even more, construction began even before community leaders approved an American proposal for the wall. sunnis, shiites and even prime minister of iraq strongly oppose it.

Most governments have obsessions with walls of some sort or another. Well, the more socialist ones of course, because maximum homogeneity is the crux of any successful attempt at socialism.
