Just sat down at table so no stats on villain but I did just see him cold call an $11 all in wiht k5s. Can someone give me a general plan of attack here bc I'm pretty sure what I did isn't the best line to take in this spot.

I'd probably bet the flop and call a push.

I'm fairly certain this guy is stacking off with any piece of this board so is there any merit in checking the flop in hopes of getting him to throw out a bluff?

You don't really have a reason to expect that he will bet. I think there's a better chance that he'll desperation push any hand he wants to get AI, including weak hands and FDs. If you CRAI, then there is some chance that he will fold worse made hands thinking it's obvious you have a K.

Just try to get it in on the flop. It's harder to get value out of something like a FD on the turn.
