Sorry if this has been posted before, but I just read an article on Toshiba's new "SED" TVs and they sound incredible.

Some of the main points:

-flat panel
-100,000:1 contrast
-1 millisecond refresh rate
-can be mass produced on a cheaper scale than any plasma/LCD TV

Sounds too good to be true, but if they're half as impressive as this article makes them out to be then they should be awesome. If they do well, I would bet "SED" monitors will come shortly after. I may have to put off buying a bigger tv until I see how this pans out.
