3 HORRIBLE beats in a row
Ok, I know bad beat stories are yawnsome, but I got three horrible beats in a row last night, and when they come one after another you start to question the fundamental laws of nature - so I really need to exorcise.
First one, quite simple in a $50sng. Get all-in preflop with AA vs JJ, they hit a J on the flop. Second, again in a $50sng. Raise 3x on but with KK, Q10o calls in bb, flop comes down 109x. Get reraised all-in, he hits an 8 then a river J to make a straight. Urgh. Then, when I think I've used up all my bad luck for the week, I'm halfway through a $35 bounty, having seen pretty much no cards and with a little more than my original stack in front of me I finally get AA and limp under the gun. Get reraised all-in by sb, who has AQs. Flop is 108x. They say 'nice hand' Turn card is a J I think 'uh oh...' The river is..... a King. Of course! Horrible horrible horrible. I do my best never to tilt, but I think I may have then. Except I didn't have any chips left to tilt off....

This was so in a row that you had time to start 2 other tournies, so what you mean is 3 beats at some point during your evening and it's not like anyone would care EVEN IF they were in all in a row against the same player at nosebleed stakes, so erm.....
stop posting pls and diagf.

lol donkaments beats. did u think anybody's gonna fold JJ or AQ in a donkament? especially after ur expert utg limp?

[/ QUOTE ] Oh, the $50sngs aren't too bad, some of the players even know the hand rankings now. And regarding the limp, I knew I was getting reraised, and as I was just under half the average stack by that point I welcomed all action with AA, obviously
