Why would you read that or want to know about it?

I read it because I'm interested in economics & philisophy, and I happen to be a capitalist.
I want to know the name of the ship because I enjoy working obscure referances into dinner party conversations. |

Suit yourself... Rand is such an awful writer though, I can't imagine voluntarily putting oneself through that. There are better economic/philosophical writers out there lol.

Sure, an awful writer that has sold over six million copies of Atlas Shrugged.... [/ QUOTE ] Yeah and Dan Brown sold how many copies of The DaVinci code? Come on this isn't an argument. Ayn Rand is one of the driest writers ever, cardboard characters and wretchedly unbelievable dialog. Whether or not her economic ideas are any good (I'm a capitalist too) her writing blows chunks regardless of mass popular taste. BTW her "philosophy" is also pretty boring, all the good parts are lifted anyway. |
