Late night food spots in Vegas
I'm a bigtime nightowl who often winds up eating dinner after midnight. When I lived in NYC this wasn't a problem because there were plenty of 24 hour joints I could get food from. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case in Vegas, or at least not in Summerlin. Seems like every place that sells Italian food, Chinese food, or subs (the mainstays of my diet) closes at 9PM.
So far my only choices are Denneys and fast food, and I'm really starting to hate both of them! Aren't there any other 24 hour joints in this town? |

I was surprised by the lack of late night food myself.

I also am having this problem. I just moved to Henderson. The 24-hour cafe's in the hotel/casino's might be your best option if you live near any. Or perhaps bar fare if you want to deal with the low-life's playing video poker at your neighborhood bar.

Gin Seng BBQ for Korean food at late hours (in between the Peppermill and the Riviera).
Cut rate decor, but food is tasty and reasonably priced. |

Re: Late night food spots in Vegas
There is surprisingly little available to eat in las vegas in the middle of the night. Ironically, center strip is probably the HARDEST place to get any food late night. The one thing that you can always find is a 24 hour cafe, I think they're forced by law to keep something open in these big casinos. However, some casinos where two adjacent properties are owned by the same company, they may keep only one cafe open. (You know it will be the more expensive one with the smaller menu). But the service is fantastic! (NOT) Room service is not even 24 hours in some casinos. Virtually all of the small and cheep restaurants will be closed come latenight.
Ironically, there are lots of good places open all night off the strip. You'll need a car to get to most of those. The bottom line is well, the bottom line. These big disneyland casinos are far more interested in their corporate profits than your being hungry at 2am. Thus, most things are closed if it's not banker hours. Al |

Re: Late night food spots in Vegas
Subway inside the Orleans is open 24 hours, but it's not very close to Summerlin. The meatball sub is not quite like the neighborhood deli might have, but after a long night of drunken strip-clubbing it's like the best meatball sub evar.
A lot of the 24 hour coffee shops in the strip hotels are short staffed late at night. They will only let so many people in because they can't service them all, so I've run into hour-long waits and ended up raiding the gift shop for beef jerky and Cheetos. |

Re: Late night food spots in Vegas
It's possible I would drive to the strip just for food, I'm only about 10-15 minutes away.
I just found one place at 4275 Spring Mountain road that got good reviews and is open until 5AM called Harbor Palace. Going there immediately. |
