jesus, this is so totally dependent on so many factors, do you really think OOT is the place to go?

thanks for the 2 useful responses so far. im interested in what yr thoughts were like before you started taking medicine/self-medicating. also, how has the medicine affected your brain's ability to function clearly? - partically if youre in school - has medicine postitively or negative affected your ability to perform scholastically?
lets have some more OOT - i know you some of you guys must have an anxiety disorder.

If your school doesn't have some kind of professional counseling for this I would highly recommend finding a free or low cost clinic to have your gf talk to someone about this. Getting this type of medical advice from the internet, especially if leads to self-medication is highly irresponsible.

Clonazepam helped me focus in class a lot, it can make you pretty drowsy though, and a little bit dopey for your first week/two on it. Kind of like being 2/3 beers deep.

I haven't had any negative side effects on effexor. I did clench my jaw pretty good for the first two weeks of being on it, but nothing a little gum can't solve. For the most part it takes care of my anxiety, but I still have a bottle of Clonies around if it gets really bad.

And to those who say Clonazepam + Alcohol are very fun... You're very right. You can get amazingly wasted and feel pretty bullet proof. You're pretty prone to blacking out though. Enjoy!

benzos fry your brain. they are fun to take recreationally once in a while, but they will turn you into a [censored] zombie if you take them everyday.

I get mild anxiety from time to time. I smoke weed several times during the day as an anti anxiety/ depressant. If I am having severe anxiety i keep xanbars around and pop half- 1 bar and that always does the trick.
