Default NL25 overpair got CR

First orbit so no reads at all.
Notice that villain is somewhat shortstacked. I believe the choice is between pushing and folding since if i call he's got only $9.95 in a $15.50 pot.
I thought his stack size made the decision interesting.

CR means check-raise. There is no check here.

We need to put him on a range here before we figure out our move.

He limp called, so premium hands are virtually out of his range. We're not really worried about JJ+.

AXs is definitely in his range. He definetely stacks off w/ A7, and probably folds possible gutshots w/ A4 and A5.

Pocket pairs are also in his range. He will fold 44-66 for a push and is calling with a set, 88, and 99.

Given this very dry flop, he is probably putting you on missed overs. He might be doing this with complete air, with some missed suited connector or something.

If our overpair was higher, I would love a call on the flop and a CRAI on the turn. However, there are lots of overcards that can kill our action.

I pokerstoved a possible calling range to a push.
Board: 2c 3s 7h Js
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 59.273% 57.27% 02.00% 630 22.00 { TcTh }
Hand 1: 40.727% 38.73% 02.00% 426 22.00 { TdTs, 99-77, 33-22, A7s }

So we are a favourite to his range that he is definetely calling with. This is quite a tight range, since he may be doing this with much less, thnking that you whiffed the flop.Push flop.
