NL 100, KK faces lots of action on not so nice flop
SB: 16.4/10/11/wts 23 over 286 hands
BB: 57/0/1/wts 45 over 110 hands ( lol @ pfr - prolly a DB error) Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $100.05 BB: $117.93 Hero (UTG): $236.41 MP: $242.37 CO: $99.50 BTN: $113.86 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) Hero raises to $4.00, 3 folds, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.00 Flop: ($12) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB bets $8.00, BB calls $8.00, Hero raises to $33.00, SB raises all-in to $96.05, BB calls $88.05, Hero raises all-in to $232.41, BB calls all-in for $17.88 Uncalled bet of $118.48 returned to Hero Turn: ($335.91) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In) River: ($335.91) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In) Pot Size: $335.91 ($3 Rake) how bad is it to call the shove ? i guess in the very very best case im even money against a big draw and a OP < KK but how likeley is this? the RR on the flop is standard i guess , nobrainer fold to shove + call of shove? |

Re: NL 100, KK faces lots of action on not so nice flop
BB calls SB's lead and then overcalls his shove.. I think you can fold to the 3-bet as the only hand you're really ahead of is 7xdd which is rare. I'm guessing he has 78 or 66.. maybe a lower set, but not a hand you beat a lot.

I still don't think you're ahead often enough when SB shoves AND BB calls.

Re: NL 100, KK faces lots of action on not so nice flop
The fold the second time is very easy.
The more interesting question is whether it's a raise in the first place on the flop, after SB comes out firing into two people (indicating a strong made hand that doesn't want to give a card on a tasty board) and BB calls. I don't much like my hand at this point, and lean towards just calling and playing for a cheap showdown if possible. |

[/ QUOTE ] i really cant see how to reach a cheap SD here , on the turn the pot will be 30ish with 3 ppl in the hand lets say i call the flop and the turn blanks out , easy fold against a PSB? so id lean more towards b/f on flop - somebody likes this line too? |

[/ QUOTE ] One way to get a cheap showdown: a diamond falls and everybody gets scared. There are other ways also. Yes you are folding to a PSB on the turn. Yes raise/fold is reasonable on the flop. I'm just saying it's not automatic. |

[/ QUOTE ] your right - prolly a diamond would slow down action but i might be good as well on the flop , from their point of view i can hold pretty much anything on the flop since they only called PF so i guess protecting my hand cant be a bad play - correct? so RR flop 30-40ish and fold to shove? |

so RR flop 30-40ish and fold to shove? [/ QUOTE ] might as well light $30 on fire because you're getting shoved on 99% of the time after this action. |
