Default 3/6 value shove river?

hey guys, first post. Im a member of some other forums but realized in order to really take my game to the next level I need to participate much more around here. I play on stars as bearsfan775, pretty sure I play with a lot of you guys.

villian is 25/11/.86 and seems fishy. i think for some reason he had it out for me cuz i beat him in a big pot and he seemed to play me a little more aggressively than the other players. i tried to double barrel him because he didn't fold to too many continuation bets. one hand we played he called my raise preflop with a pocket pair when i had AA, flopped a set, just called the flop and then raised the turn. shove river for value?

I value-bet for $250 given your reads. Unless he's just as likely to call for his stack with a random J or TT/99/88. You make it seem like he'll call a bet...but really, how much is he going to call? Do you think you look more FOS if you shove? You might. Therefore, given image, shoving seems tolerable...but ONLY if you think he'll actually come along with a worse hand...It's incredibly read dependent. Go with your gut.

shove seems more like a bluff than an actual sized out vb... I like it.

pretty reads based situation. Will he bluff a missed flush draw if you check? Will he call on the river with Jx?

imo, a bet for a little over half the pot will get called significantly more often in this spot than a shove. unless you have history shoving all in on the river with nothing, then I would shove.

I really do like a valuebet here though. considering you think hes fishy, and we can see hes passive.

if he isn't floating 95% of the flops i don't like a 2nd barrel on this board and turncard a lot

Seems like a thin spot to 2-barrel the turn. If you think he will call with Jx $200-$250 is fine. If you think there's any chance he has missed hearts and will bluff if checked to, then take this course of action.
