I mostly just shove here vs shorties but don't know if it's correct. |

hmm raise more preflop now probably he had z weak A or a push with JJ or flush draw

I would fold. $31 into $20 still seems like to much, you have 2 outs if you are behind, and he may realize that that ace is a scare card for you, but he will still show up with it a lot.

Raise a bit more preflop, and if you called, I think I love the check. I think you get him to put the most money in when behind this way.
