So what did you put him on then? Ax? Would he bet the turn w/ Ax? I rather lead this turn then check calling.

Keep betting, by checking that turn you essentially gave up the hand since you showed such weakness. Bet about 25-30 into the pot, and at that point if he hasn't folded you can probably safely fold that river.

I disagree. Check the turn is the ONLY play here. Though you show weakness, you have showdown value. Therefore pot control is important. The ACE is a scare card for both of you. I like the idea of calling a non ace river. I dont remember but fold the river. If you mucked, then hand played fine.
