QQ vs. spewtard. questionable river.......

villian is totally lagtarded. capped 52s preflop and capped all streets with no pair and hit runner runner flush in a previous hand. i've seen him do all sorts of wierd laggy [censored]. so is my river play out of line?

Against most laggy tards I would just call this river, when they raise on the river, it is more often 2 pair or better than it is a bluff.
If he overplayed one pair, I make note and play accordingly in the future.

Meh. I don't have a big problem with the river. I'm inclined to just call the raise most of the time, but if he's as lagtarded as you say this could easily just be a pair or air. Maybe he picked up a draw on the river.

Guess it comes down to how likely you think he is to push a pair or draw or big hand on the flop/turn. Given the strong line you've taken, he's doing his best to suggest that the 8 helped him or he had you crushed the whole way. Whether you believe him is largely a matter of feel. Would he go nutzo with a flopped pair or 88? Is he capable of slowplaying a turned T?

I'd default to a call but look for reasons to 3-bet based on my read.
