$11- 44 blind vs. blind: raise or push preflop?
The reads that I had on this player was that he called too lightly and limp-called too many raises. I'm lost here preflop, what's the play here? I feel like there are merits to raising, pushing, or checking, but I'm just lost here. Also, just trying to prevent myself from being result oriented here.

Re: $11- 44 blind vs. blind: raise or push preflop?
Honestly, you're being results-oriented. Not that I can pass judgment, as I've been just as guilty of that at times. You might want to bet more after the flop, but otherwise you got what you wanted. He min-raised to get info (as I suspect most of these plays are for) and made a ridiculous call when you "told" him he's beat.
Basically, you got it in not just good, but great, and got turnriverstarred. Game Over, put in another quarter and play again. |

I think you're just being results-oriented. Bet more on the flop, like 2500 min, otherwise it was played fine imo
I don't really get why you were thinking about pushing PF though? |

Re: $11- 44 blind vs. blind: raise or push preflop?
looks fine
but if you think he calls really light and has a wide range to calling your raise, then that just makes the post flop play more tricky for when you miss. i dont hate just checking behind here because 44 is a hand where you dont know where you stand if you dont hit a set a lot of the time. pushing pre is horrible, |
