tough spot in $560 tourney at borgata
Alright, so im in the 560 tourey at the borgata for the summer poker open. starting stack is 6000. i have played at the same table the entire time and have a pretty TAG image. im pretty sure all of the players know im pretty solid. the villain in this hand is pretty loose, but hasnt really sat at my table for that long, he has 9000 in chips and i have 7500. i saw him showdown a couple marginal hands and he seems to be fairly active. blinds are 200-400 with 50 ante everyone folds to him on the button and he raises to 1200. sb folds and i look down and see 99.
whats my play?

3bet to 4k and call push [/ QUOTE ] ? raise to about 4k and if he pushes I would fold you dont want to put your entire tourney on a race (and its going to be a race at best if he at best if he re-raises you and you go all in) when this guy if hes showing marginal hands you will have his chips later in the tourney

depending on no. of players for antes you're M= 6.8 - 7.5
along with your read, this is a standard push allday [ QUOTE ] 3bet to 4k and call push [/ QUOTE ] i dont get this?

[/ QUOTE ] I think the 4k raise looks stronger than a push, and gets called less by two overcards. Normally I would push but most people nowadays take that as "small pp, we are racing, lets go".

Loose aggressive is player button raising, you have tight image, around 2k in the pot to pick up with the blinds and antes, seems like a pretty easy push.

if you make that play to 4k it would cost 3500 into a 12550 pot = 3.59:1 = no brainer
can anyone with stove see how 32o match up against AA or KK/AA?
