Should I just fold PF here? Should have I folded on the flop? As played, on the river do I shove, fold or call? Villian's river raise now looks like a flush. He raised the flop and took a free card on the turn. Then he comes to life when the draws hit. I can't see a 9 being in his raising range on the flop. He could have 57s I guess.

you are likely toasted on the river, but I dont see any other way to play this hand. fold flop if you want, but tis not a big deal.

shove the river, note the 4 to the straight on the board? Button could have Ax, the straight, two-pair or any other donksastic hand. You lose to a higher flush, and I could live with that

pf call is not super-standard, but is not awful. folding it would be fine. AAs played, i don't know whether i like a push or a call better. we clearly need to at least call, getting decent odds and a grat chance he has a straight. But as for pushing, im not sold yet. Hmm...

do you have any reads on this player? this is especially the kind of hand where it's important to know if your opponent bets draws. In any case, i think the nut draw bets the turn again esp with TP. So we fear three better hands at this point. The check on the turn is suspicious, but I'm fine with a push here as I think we are only worried about three higher flushes here. This is a juicy enough board to get action from a losing hand.

I like pushing the river. Villain probably has top end of the straight.

As for the PF, I wouldn't call here, but for some people I'm sure it's a profitable call (I'm just not going out of my way looking to get in messy situations.) What I mean is I'll sacrifice whatever small EV this hand has to keep me from losing my mind when I get in trouble with it.

I'm definitely calling the river, but I'm also not sold on the push. We're getting over 2:1 to call, I'm sure we're good that often here...I'm just not sure we're good over half the time. Also, I suppose there's a small chance he folds a straight (very small) which is hurting our push equity even more. I just call the river, although I'm not convinced that's the best play.

I fold PF..As played call river..Only hands I see villain holding that plays this way and pays off a shove is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] & 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]..Thus I think we are behind villain range when we shove and get called..
