.5/1 KK overbet, overbet, min-raise?!?
I think the FTP converter is down, so here goes
EDIT: It's a helluva lot easier to see the hand if u know what the cards are Villian stats are 60/10. He's a complete and total donkey that somehow managed to get $30 all the way up to $600ish. I know he'll float. $0.50/$1 NL Villian in SB [$543.30], Hero in BB [$175.50] Cards dealt to Hero: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] All fold to villian, villian calls, Hero bets $4 , villian calls FLOP 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villian checks, Hero bets $10, Villian calls Turn 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villian checks, Hero bets $40, Villian raises to $80 , hero... Totally lost here. Just played one orbit where I've gotten some good hands, raised preflop, but had to throw them away on the flop. He comments on this in chat about me raising trash. I overbet knowing he's going to call me and to inflate the pot. I repeat the overbet on the flop when he checks to me. I try it again on the turn, where he min-raises me...WTF?!? Crovax |

Re: .5/1 KK overbet, overbet, min-raise?!?
i love those spots too, especialy 170bb deep
depends a lot on how often i saw him bluff, or suspected him bluffing, because the 3 hands i wanna see QJ,KJ,AJ would probably all raise preflop if itīs down to sb vs bb. Leaves some Jhxh, KT, QT type hands or other flush/str8 draws and ofc 2 pairs, straight or a set of 222. Thus i donīt see a lot of value in reraising, unless he is bad enough to call with any draw. I probably call once ? and fold to a big river bet ... duno, i realy seem to misplay my hands in those spots pretty often :/ |

minimum check-raise is the strongest possible play in unlimited hold 'em [/ QUOTE ] But he made about 510$ profit thus far and probably feels like he can win every pot. Just donīt know if a call on the turn will slow him down |

Re: .5/1 KK overbet, overbet, min-raise?!?
I ended up calling his mini bet
River Qs Hero check, villain pushes, Hero calls Villain shows Jh9c for a pair of jacks I was talking with a friend as this hand played out. He said EZ fold but when I paused, he told me to trust my gut. I've been observing him for close to 100 hands, and initially I thought he had TP or a flush draw. Btw, I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] donks Edit: I think against a standard donk, I would have put him on 2-pair or a set, but this was a special donk. |
