Default 88, ok?

Suits are also not important

villain is 55/3.7/2. That's all I know. I'll point out ahead of time, my intention here is pure value, fold to three bet.

If you are going to fold to a three bet, why not raise the turn and fold with one less BB invested? FPS syndrome in play here.

That said with these kind of guys I typically just call down. Either they are bluffing their J3 all the way down or really do have the deuce.

I would raise the turn because if he is bluffing he probably calls and then donks that river card. I think a turn 7 (see: KK on Q92 Q) is more how I would take this line.

Looks good to me. I might chicken out and just call the river, but I think your line is correct.

His stats are kind of borderline maniac with that AF - he might 3 bet the turn just because with a worse hand, but be less inclined to do so on that river. Either way, I have a hard time folding to 3 bets.

Or donk bluff a lot, which would make buck the champion of this hand. Thought raise turn/raise river is ultimate champion.

I like when I ignore AF.

Yeah I don't feel the least bit bad about a raise/call on the turn against donko.

factors I considered that made me do what I did, right or wrong:

1. First question to answer is whether or not we have equity to get a raise in, which I think is pretty clearly yes.
2. To decide which street I took these factors into account in order of most important to least important:
-When it's a straight bluff, we get him to fire again on the river often where he might otherwise fold.
- While keeping the bluffs around, we usually still get the three bets out of something like 44-66 here on the river raise so this line works fairly often versus made hands and unmade hands.
- The river is generally an easier fold to a three bet.

I agree that it's easier to fold to a river 3. IMO that's most applicable against 30/20/3 Lagtags who I trust but don't really 'trust'. Against this retard though I'm just not folding ever with this hand so I don't think that matters so much. Moreover there aren't a plethora of hands we don't want to fold with 8's (not that he ever folds Ace high anyway).
