I have a problem with this kind of situations. The villain was 8/14/3 on a small sample (&lt;100hands). Please help me.

8/14? I assume thats 18/14.

First, gotta 3bet the guy preflop. You'd have a better idea of what you're up against. I'd assume you're facing AK, AQ, AJ, etc. A 3 bet would probably be a call preflop, and then would fold to your cbet on the flop. Also, make them pay for the privilege of having position on you for a hand.

As played, I'm sure he rivered you with that ace. He seems kind of weak in that betting, as if he was searching for something, and that $10 bet on the river might be less than a half pot, but its still a significant bet at that level. That was the card he was looking for. I don't like any of the streets except the fold on the end.

Raise it up to 2 or 3 PF
As played I fold the turn. VPIP of 8 even over 40 or 50 hands is uber tight at 25nl and you have to give him credit for a hand.
