Default 2001FP as a tv?

Has anyone tried using their 2001fp as a tv? I know it has that composite video input, so I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with it. I want to move a comcast box into my room and don't have the desk space for a tv or the money for something to hang on the wall, so this is the best option right now.

I used WinTV with one at school and it worked fine. I've never tried using it as an actual TV though, so this probably isn't any help.

Well... I know you can just buy a TV tuner card, but I don't know if they are good quality or not. This is something that I've been wondering for a while.

Anybody here have any experience?

Yeah, the TV tuner card isn't exactly an option b/c I'm using a laptop.

I use my 2001FP to play PS2 through the S-Video connection, and my friend who knows way more than me about computers said that I could definitely get a TV tuner card for my laptop and use the 2001FP as a TV.

I've got a Media Center PC and a 2001FP in my office. It's alright. It's not the best if you're close, but otherwise, it'll do.
