Default 100NL - AA vs QQ+ on QJx flop

I don't have the actual hand history handy...Effective stacks are 100BB's

Preflop:
I open raise with AA to 3BB's, button calls, BB reraises to ~9BB's. I reraise to ~25BB's, button folds, BB calls. (BB has QQ+ here based on his image and mine)

Flop QJx rainbow

What is your plan for the rest of the hand?

Youre either going broke or stacking someone here.

If you are that sure he has QQ, what can you do except hope to see a cheap showdown? Check and hope to call down small bets? Bet and hope he calls down small bets? Fold to any re-raise? Of course, the whole time you can pray for an A.

How can you be sure he has QQ, KK is definetly possible, even AK somtimes. In any case youre calling or making a 2/3 pot bet which in essence commits you to the pot for the rest of your chips.

Good point, blunty31. Any bet or call is pot-committed. If you are going to play, just push here. I guess you could make one half-pot bet and fold to a re-raise, but hardly seems worth it -- what happens on the turn if it's not an A?

I dont see him calling a reraise to 25BB with AKo. I definitely see QQ or KK happening here.

I have seen numorous pushes and calls after Reraises w/ AK so we cant discount it completely, I'd give it a 10% chances he might have it. Split the rest betwean QQ and KK add the money already in the pot, and youre pretty much commited to a showdown.
