I earned the 1000 dollar freeplay from cris and I am wondering what the best way to use it is. Right now this is the only account I have money in so arbing is not an option. I was thinking of using it on large moneylines or something. Or should I use it how I play with my normal cash? Thanks for insight.

Here's a better question, did you already purchase the $1000 freeplay?

90000 for $1000= .0111111111111111111/point
4000 for $50 = .0125/point |

I think the $200 + Sportspager or $125 free play are the best values. I'm not sure if you can just buy several $125 freeplays though. Just food for thought.

You should choose $150 freeplays for 10,000 points to get the best value ($0.015/point). King Yao wrote an excellent article on maximizing the value of freeplays for the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine - he may be willing to share it with you. The gist of optimal freeplay betting is that you should be looking to bet big underdogs on the moneyline or parlaying your best "regular" picks in groups of at least three. If you're looking to lock in guaranteed returns, you can bet the big underdogs at CRIS and hedge with the best opposing moneylines you can find. You should strive to clear at least 80% of your freeplay amount with this method. Homer's ArbCentral has a Freeplay Calculator for this.
Edit: +EV futures with long odds are another possibility worth considering. |
