$200 NL live @ Foxwoods AA in a huge pot OOP
Live 1/2 NL @ Foxwoods. Table is full of terrible players.
Have people raising J7o UTG and then proceed to call a 3bet of 35 dollars PF. People donking every street with bottom pair, etc... you get the idea I have $650 and am only covered by 1 person who has $900. Everyone else has 250 or less. I know I screwed up PF with the size of my 3bet. I feel I should have made it $75-$90. How much are we 3betting PF. What is our best plan for the flop? PF: Hero - $650 I have AA here. UTG raises to $12. 5 callers, I 3bet to $45 from BB. 4 callers. Pot: $240: Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

I don't play live, but I'm pretty sure you should 3bet much more here, especially considering your description of the table. Make it like 90 preflop. I don't see the difficulty of this hand postflop... you have AA on a fantastic board in a ridiculously bloated pot full of donks who all but one have less than a PSB left... Re: $200 NL live @ Foxwoods AA in a huge pot OOP
From the BB, I'd prolly raise this around $200 to get heads up. Playing a big pair like this OOP is a nightmare against a field this big.
Didn't see the stack sizes. You could raise to about 125 to induce a 4 bet, but it seems like people will just call. You could also raise to 250 and go heads up vs the big stack, but this $45 raise is tiny compared to the pot size and will be called by everyone at the table (and probably at some other tables). As played, I'd pot the flop. |

Re: $200 NL live @ Foxwoods AA in a huge pot OOP
I played in a game just like this in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. I'd make it $80 preflop. As played, bet 200 on the flop, get the rest in on the turn.

Your preflop 3-bet is horrible. Charge them much more to see a flop.
This is one of the best flops for you that doesn't give you a set. Just fire $160 and get the rest in somewhere. |

[/ QUOTE ] I did that on the flop. I need to learn to raise much more PF. If I take down even just the initial PF raises then its not terrible. Thanks for insight |

Re: $200 NL live @ Foxwoods AA in a huge pot OOP
As played you cannot fold here. I would have made it about 85 pf. But, as the more I've played live I realize that I need to raise much more than one would think. I just don't see how you can fold here given the hand. I'd bet 200 on the flop and only fold if there were 2 reraisers.
