Default Always Early Position

When playing 6 max $50NL tables I always feel im in early position. If im UTG or UTG+1 I feel im out of position preflop. If im in the blinds I feel I will be out of position post flop. Am I thinking about this wrong? Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Preflop does not matter much as long as you get the basics. You should focus on postflop play (how often do you win preflop and if you do, how much compared to post flop?).

On the button there are only the blinds to combat and they have random hands. It's no different from full ring games. You'll have position when the decisions get to matter. Preflop play is over estimated imo. It's not about relative differences of position "2 out of 5 opponents still have to act, that's 40% of them!". Think "only two random hands still have to act" instead.
