Not in a meaningful way. The corporate media does not want us to think about issues that effect the balance of power between the monied elite and the bewildered herd.

What issues were discussed during the 2004 election? What issues will be discussed during 2008. 400 dollar haircuts and the boogeyman known as terrorism.

The corporations have succeeded in subverting our democracy by flooding our media outlets with insignifigant and often phony attacks on politicans that stray from acceptable ideas.
