Default Mirage Any Good?

Looking to play 4-8 or 5-10. Staying at the Mirage this weekend and was wondering if their games are any good. Is there a better choice within walking distance?

The have neither 4-8 nor 5-10. They have 3-6 and 6-12. There are literally tons of rooms within walking distance including nearly all of the best in Vegas...Ceasars is next door and Venetian is across the street. Wynn, Bellagio, TI, IP, Harrahs, Flamingo, and Ballys are all within easy walking distance. Of those, Venetian has 3-6 and sometimes 6-12 and Wynn and Bellagio always have 4-8.

You won't find 5/10 anything in this town except for No Limit nowadays. 5/10 just sucks as a limit and it's been proven time and time again. Any goog rooms within walking distance? A ton.

Venetian has been running 5/10 Limit Horse on most peak nights, but as the ohers have said, their standard low limit game is 3/6, unfortunately, not 4/8.

The V has taken a LOT of Mirage's regulars, but the Mirage room is still kicking (and has a consistent 10/20, which the V does not).

I've always wondered why you don't see 5/10 live, too. Odd SB mess things up?

Live = all about the chips, baby.

5/10 would be a 1 and 2 chip game....pots look small = bad.

Exactly. Also, I would warn against even trying to argue with the logic.

Fish like big pots. Fish do not like to count. Fish see lots of chips and to them that = big pot.

Fish attract more fish. More players = bigger pots. Bigger pots = even more fish.

Case on point: Commerce Casino. Nuff said.

Accept it, learn it, live it.
