Default 10/20 QQ with scary river. Value bet?

Sorry if this is basic. I haven't played limit in a while after becoming a full time MTT donk

6 max 10/20 online. Villain just sat down 1 rotation ago so no reads.

Preflop
Hero has Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG+1
Hero raises, all fold to villain who calls in BB

Flop ($45) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain checks, hero bets, villain calls

Turn ($65) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villain bets, hero raises, villain calls

River ($145) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain checks, hero...?

Is this a bet/fold on the river or am I making it too easy for the villain to make a suicide bluff on the ultimate scare card?

Typing it out this seems like a check... but are typical 10/20 players ever check/raise bluffing here? Are they ever making crying calls with 78s/88/99/TT/JJ figuring that I am bluffing one in eight times?

Thanks for your help,
Steve

I'd bet against an unknown - you'd be surprised what people call with and the ace makes it unlikely you will be raised as a bluff (since you could have raised the turn with AK also). A big hand on his part would probably have three bet the turn. He either has a busted draw (in which case he's not calling), medium pockets (in which case he might call), pair/str8 draw combo or a seven (in which case you may sometimes get called if he hopes you raised with something like KQ or he has something like 10's and hopes you raised with 9's, etc), or he hit a spade draw and will checkraise. While possible, I don't think this is hugely likely. I bet personally. If you get checkraised, play well.

I bet/call as I don't give enough people credit to thinking that I would vb a worse hand and call a c/r.

I'm moving this to the 6-max forum where you'll get more good and accurate responses.

(I'd bet the river).

Bet fold. Since you raised pf why would he bluff raise a scare card for HIM. It almost neverhappens.

I am surprised by all of the people who voted to bet/call the river (9 so far say bet/call and only 3 say bet/fold.)

Just thinking out lout but... If the villain had made a flush on the river wouldn't the cr make sense for him?

Does a pair of 6s, 7s, or mid pocket pair really cr here when they might actually have some showdown value? If not then is he only cring an ace, a flush, a boat, or a complete bluff like KQ? What are the odds that he has a hand like KQ as played and not one of the several hands that is ahead of me?

In this hand I bet with the intention of calling (he mucked) but in hindsight I wonder if that plan is flawed
