Casinos Right in the Middle of Campus
I just had a wonderful dream that there was a casino right in the middle of campus. Not those small ones too- a large Vegas sized casino with every table game you could want. My mouth was watering at all those 18 year old college students who think they own at poker because they always beat their dorm buddies. Too bad I couldn't sit because I couldn't find an ATM. I asked one of the ladies at the information booth if I could use a debit card at one the tables and she said yes! But then I realize that all my cash is still in Neteller! Then I woke up.
Now that I think of it I can't think of any casinos being within an 45 minutes of campus or less. When I went to UCSD I remember Baronas or Viejas taking 45 minutes or more to get there.

here at UNLV the strip is a 5-10minute drive. Nice walk if you want the exercise.

Turning Stone is within an hour of a zillion schools... which I count because Upstate New York is basically a wasteland.

[/ QUOTE ] I always see the "gambling studies department" people on those Vegas documentaries and dreamed of getting a masters in gambling studies at UNLV, both because I am interested in the anthropological and psycological effects/influences of gambling, and because I wanted to pay my tuition with tourists' money [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Alas, no such degree program exists, at least not one that is feasible for me [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
