Re: top set easy all in?
Don't show results. Given the rainbow flop and the fact villian did not reraise your raise on flop, it looks like big wrap draw. Given that 1/4 your stack is in the pot you can consider folding the turn. Villian was very lucky.

Re: top set easy all in?
This is really tough, but because you have a J in your hand his hand really looks like a wrap draw on the flop rather than JJJ. But given the fact that you will now have a note, will lead a gutshot into preflop raiser when ace flops, you can pretty much always get it in against any turn card against him.

Re: top set easy all in?
this is the classic situation where i check the turn and see what happens........but not stack off.
chucky, you called that a big wrap? looks like a double gutter to me. is that considered a big wrap in plo? i dont consider it a big wrap but i dont know it all either. is it considered a big wrap? |

is it considered a big wrap? [/ QUOTE ] No it isn't, and he only has a gutshot draw to go with TPTK. A wrap is not possible on this board. I think chucky's point is that often this will be a 9-outer straight draw with a pair. |

[/ QUOTE ] Can't check behind when opp leads into you. He was saying that because Hero holds one of the Jacks, it makes Opp having JJxx less likely. If JJxx is less likely, given that he still called the flop raise, a hand like KQTx is more likely. Opps actual hand was not a big wrap. Opps most likely hand was a big wrap. That wrap hits on turn. |

Re: top set easy all in?
?????you know, i dont know if its me or i just cant seem to read these hand histories very well. i read it fairly quick and didnt realize hero had position.
lol, i thought hero bet into villan on turn. ugh. lets see, your getting like 2.5 to 1 with 25% equity with another possible 43.50 to win if you fill up on river. i smooth call turn and fold river if i dont improve. villan bets 3/4 pot on turn wich tells me he is not bluffing. i think if villan hit 2 pair with a flush draw on turn, he would bet the pot into me.......more than likely. hmmmm, with the odds and equity numbers i mentioned, is it better to push the turn? i dont know how to run those numbers. anyone have an answer? |
