Default two straight draws on 3-flush boards (10/20 live)

Two hands from tonight's session. My image is nitty TAG. All comments appreciated.

Hand 1: CO (tight, passive) limps in the CO, I limp J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button, active small blind raises, BB calls, CO calls, I call.

Flop (8 SB): A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Folds to CO who checks her cards, thinks about checking, then bets, I call, SB and BB fold.

Turn (5 BB): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] CO checks and calls my bet.

River (7 BB): T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. CO checks, I ...

Is there any reason to bet the river here? Also, what about the turn check?

-------------------------------------

Hand 2: Folds to TAG CO who raises, I defend my BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop (4.5 SB): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I check-raise, he calls.

Turn (4.25 BB): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I bet, he calls.

River (6.25 BB): 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet.

Why would u bet......... She raised at least she has medium pockets like 99 with 9 of spades. or even QK with k spades. U no she will call. Why would u even think about betting..................... u have a pair of tens........ if she had a pair of queens odds are in her favor so she has to call...... she is not going to fold for 20$.

1) I would think about raising PF if blinds are reasonably tight and limper is fit or fold. Not sure about limping, TPP might be limping with some hands dominating yours. Check the turn, he's not folding. No point in betting the river, he's calling Ax if he made it this far.

2) I don't play live, but I'd give up on the river. I think Ax will call the river if he made it this far, so I think you can only really hope to fold a hand like QJ/QT with a spade. I don't play live so maybe people fold ace high here?

In the five hours I'd been playing with Villain he hadn't called down without at least second pair. Of course, he probably does have a pair, but does he have a busted spade draw that he'll fold the 1 time in 7 that I need to make a river bet profitable?

Yea I think a bet is worth it the more I think about it, I imagine a 10/20 live TAG will fold ace high some of the time, especially with your image.

Hand 1:
Raise or fold preflop.
As played, check turn.
As played, there's very little value in the river and he folds alot of his missed spades. Check.

Hand 2:
Standard. Good spot to 3-barrel.

I have 0 limp hands in this spot when CO is weak/tight. His range is strong enough that I don't want to play this postflop without having taken initative and paired the players down.

It also makes it easy because having just a few hands that you would call here gives away your range. What hands are you calling here? If you're only calling JTo/97s type hands here, Shania is going to whoop your ass. Obviously, this latter point is not important until people start picking up on your hands, but it is where I play. I think a limp is fine in a vacuum EV-wise, but not soemthing I want to do often.

Thus, I fold this if the blinds are loose/aggressive/good and raise if they are bad/tight or even if SB is TAG/solid.

Hand 1: No reason to bet the river; I usually raise pre-flop.

Hand 2: Thats fine.
