live 5-10 hand, I make a flush
Live game in Melbourne Crown casino. 9 handed, all my opponents are pretty much brain dead and the game is super passive. Lots of 6 and 7 way limped pots, I've hardly seen a 3 bet preflop all night. Villain in this hand is one of the tighter players, he is probably about 35/5/0.5 though. I don't remember him playing a big pot, we don't have any history together. He probably thinks I am aggro, I haven't really been but only in comparison to the rest of the table. Villain has 1400 to start the hand, I cover.
Loose moron limps, villain limps, sb limps, I check in the BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Flop T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet 40, only villain calls. Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet 110, he doesn't think long before making it 300. Now what? |

Re: live 5-10 hand, I make a flush
You guys aren't deep, and even if he is one of the tighter players he is probably playing all forms of suited connectors, and because you are live and he may just be stupid enough to play a set this way, and you have the third nuts. I would just get it in on the turn. If you're beat its a cooler.
Edit: BTW, I wouldn't be pumping my fist mentally as I put it in though.. |

This would be so easy if you had Kd5d. As it stands its close but still a shove.

Re: live 5-10 hand, I make a flush
stick it in is fine
i kinda like call raise/ lead river for like 450...live is so different-they are way more likely to look that line up light than they are to call a shove shoves scare live players... |

Re: live 5-10 hand, I make a flush
Call raise, lead river works better. Shoving here may actually scare your opponent off a low flush like 5d4d etc, this would be a sizable overbet and this guy doesn't sound like a total moron.

Re: live 5-10 hand, I make a flush
results:
I made a balls of it. I thought he almost certainly had a straight or a flush, and might fold a straight. I called and check called the river 7, only the [censored] checked behind. Don't know what he had but I'm sure he bets any straight or flush again on the river. |
