Extracting value with turned quads - 200nl
200nl 6-max 6 handed, effec stacks $240
I havent got a lot of experience with this villain but my impression of him is that he is decent but on the weak/passive side, not at all a bad player just not aggro enough and a bit weak overall (if that makes sense). Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain (UTG+1) raises $8, folded to hero who calls. Flop: ($18) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets $16, Villain calls. Turn: ($50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero... Action here and why? Im about to go out and will add my thoughts and what I did later when I get home. |

Re: Extracting value with turned quads - 200nl
Against a passive player I bet this every time - around $35 sounds about right. A lot depends on table image also

Re: Extracting value with turned quads - 200nl
My image is very aggro I am probably stealing about 45% but I havent been caught getting out of line at all.

No point trying to induce a bet from him if he's passive. Just bet $40 or so.

I bet somewhere around 25, getting draws to think they get good odds. If they hit you can get their stack on the river.

Re: Extracting value with turned quads - 200nl
come on bet all day. he'll pay off lots. The only reason to check is if he will get it all in on a paired board if he makes his flush on the river, or if he won't throw away many hands to a check-raise (doubtful)
