Elation to deflation
I'm writing a poker psychology post right now centered around the contrast of losing significantly different sizes of money with disproportional emotional responses.
The point of the whole thing is my not caring about being an idiot and losing money (because I can at least solve that problem) but getting frustrated by performing capably and then just having the breath entirely sucked from my lungs by a bad beat punch to the chest.. So without further ado.. Wrapping up a good night. The goal is to play frequently in my spare time until I've at least rebuilt my previous $1k bankroll. Up about $250 on the night, satisfied, and getting ready to call it a day. Essentially 1/4 of the way to my rebuilding goal. Re: Elation to deflation
I see people do this, I don't get it. Someone's scared of postflop play.
