The flop bet is ok, you may eliminate some ppl and get it HU or 3-handed. If that was the case I would fire another bet on the turn.

But in this instance you got called by 4 players on a rainbow/mediocre coordinated with 1 overcard flop. Now it's time to let it go. There is no way your hand is still best, so check/fold the turn.

Would it be really weak to check/fold this flop? Your raise got called by 5 people preflop and now a K hit. The pot is pretty big, so most people will call your bet anyway and are correct to do so. This is a really bad scenario for your TT. I'm thinking the flop bet may just be a waste of 1 SB. Or is there still a good chance your TT's are the best hand out there?

And what if the K was an A? I'm even more leaning towards check/folding the flop, I know it sounds horrible, but sometimes I get the idea some people are just too overagressive and are betting just to bet.

In an 8 bb pot I might be willing to toss a bet out on the turn. That single bet will often get us to showdown, as 3/6 live players likely won't value bet their Ks on the river. Players will peel with so much junk, it's not unreasonable no one has a K or 3 here.

If I bet the turn, it's absolutely the last bet that I'm putting in. I'd check the river and likely not call a bet, though that decision would be very read-dependent.

I just want to point out that when the K hits on the it's more likely that nobody has a K. This is read dependent situation but I will say that betting again in this spot has been a winning play for me over the long run IMO.

Depends on the players but it's a fairly big pot on the flop and players will call with all sorts of stuff for one small bet. Small stakes hold'em covers this situation. You want to protect your hand if at all possible since the pot is big. The question is how to do that? A check raise in this situation does not look viable here. You could check the flop and hopefully if it's checked around the BB will bet the turn and then you could raise. Looks like alot of hoping so probably betting out is the best alternative. Could be convinced otherwise.
