he didnt often 3bet preflop . no other reads.

hate flop lead - i guess if you were trying to bet 3/bet because of specific opponent - then maybe - but otherwise no. now i check and prob fold - unless again there is history and i may be ck calling 2 streets on almost all cards.

My idea was, b/f flop. but then he just called.

If you lead the flop it should be with the intent of inducing and calling a shove. bf is horrible. I check now and decide what to do later.

I wouldn't except him to fold an overpair, especialy if he has a diamond. I say ez C/F turn.
