battle of the blinds 200BBs deep with the preflop nuts!
villain is VoodooWizard. He plays kindof an unusual style that is a little looser and more passive preflop than most regulars. He will openlimp UTG etc, sometimes to limpreraise, and sometimes just calls. His stats are something like 31/18, but that might not be accurate, atleast not his PFR.
We have played a good amount together and I like to raise or reraise him alot preflop, and he likes to make moves on me postflop. He also tends to overvalue onepair hands a little and generally gives me little credit. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com MP ($885) CO ($703.50) Button ($1106) SB ($1845) Hero ($2348.75) UTG ($1049) Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 4 folds, SB raises to $30, Hero raises to $110, SB raises to $600, |

It's unlikely you have him dominated here. You need a parlay to push: 1) that you have a race and not facing AA-KK, and 2) that you win the race. Do you want to bet your stack on that parlay? Or do you want to chalk up the 110 as a loss and move on to the next hand? I'd say it's about 25% that he has AA-KK. |

you are prob about 1/3 to win if called, you win 700 when you get him to fold and you lose 1200 when he calls. figure it out.

[/ QUOTE ] Given your assumptions, Villain would have to fold 12 times out of 19 for the fold equity to break even against the call equity. I am guessing Villain calls more than 7 of 19 pushes here. After committing a third of his stack, Villain is getting 2:1 on the call of the push. |

Re: battle of the blinds 200BBs deep with the preflop nuts!
I have played with Voodoo a ton, I would shove here for sure, since his 4bet range is huge. He doesn't think ahead and will sometimes convince himself to fold something like JJ and sometimes convince himself to call AJ.
Voodoo reminds me a lot of Jeppg111 on FTP in that he makes retarded moves but still plays a pretty fundamentally sound game so is probably a winner. And they are both annoying [censored] in chat. |
