The way i see you could take an average guy off the street make him head coach they probably win about the same number of games.
The Cavs won appoximate 40 with James as a rookie under Paul Silas and James has gotten alot better (especially his shot) and there are a few servicable players around him. So i doubt Brown has contributed anything positive to the Cavaliers. He's also wasting Lebron's open court talents in a slow down style offense. He has made the Cavs better defensively, but their poor offensive schemes probably cost them games also. He's was reluctant to play young guys who James said were extremely talented (pavlovic and gibson) James does not seem to pay attention in the huddle. all in all you take an average guy off the street (who's fairly intelligent, gets along with Lebron) you probably win the same number of games. Its probably oversimplifying to say he is useless. But definitely don't buy the argument he's an excellent coach. |

In other news, the Cavaliers just won their 2nd straight game to make the Eastern Conference Finals a 2-2 series.

![]() as i've said before and i'll say again... mike brown is a tremendous defensive coach. the work he's done with this team defensively is remarkable. in game, tactically, he leaves much to be desired. |
