Default Interesting spot: I am greedy maybe?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $37.45
Hero (BB): $65.60
UTG: $62.05
MP: $52.05
CO: $32.00
BTN: $18.85

Reads: UTG is a tight/aggressive, and from his stats he seems rather solid.

I have him on 18/16/4.2 over 134 hands.

I have been running 22/17/1.5 over 65 hands at this table.

We have had a couple of blind wars but I haven't been out of line

fwiw button is just a standard shortstack idiot who is loose/passive and looking to gamble

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $1.75, 2 folds, BTN calls $1.75, SB folds, Hero calls $1.25

Flop: ($5.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 (3 Players)
Hero bets $4.50, UTG calls $4.50, BTN raises all-in to $17.10,

I would like UTGs stack as well as BTNs, discuss.

well your other option is to shove.. which I guess is something I'd do with an overpair here to shut utg out.. but you want him in, is he a good enough player to be thinking on that level where he says oh, he is shoving he must have something like QQ and wants me to fold.. but then again, what is he going to call with? 18/16 isn't calling his stack with most draws there and the ones he would have he probably would have raised your first bet.

I think if you want his stack you have to push. If you call you probably get get an extra $12, but what is UTG going to think when you start betting into a dry side pot? If you push he might still think you have a draw you want to run with btn with the overlay or you push to isolated because you figure to be ahead of btns range. None of those things are going to happen if you just call and then bet out on the turn. I donīt know if UTG is retarded and might push himself if you just call because he thinks you are "weak", but I wouldnīt bet on it.

Obviously if you think his range is mostly missed overs you have to just call, but if it is some overpair he isnīt entirely comfortable with or maybe even a fd you have to push.
